Access is directly off Avenue Las Americas, a 10-minute walk from the restaurants, nightlife and tourist facilities of Avenue Primera.
* The Lindamar restaurant offers an elegantly contemporary tropical vogue. Two additional restaurants each serve the two pool complexes, while the Tropimar Seafood Restaurant overhangs the beach. Four snack bars combine to guarantee dining 24/7.
* Food quality is merely acceptable, with some dishes occasionally rising to notable levels, though in this respect this hotel is on a par with its competitors. Six bars, including a piano bar, span the four corners—including the beach and guests can imbibe round-the-clock.
* Entertainment staff does a commendable job with their organized daytime activities and nightly cabarets, although as at competing properties, many guests would much prefer to be left in peace while sunning and snoozing around the main pool complex, a huge arcing water space with ample lounge areas and a shelving walk-in to one side. Sports activities include archery, bocchi, tennis and, uniquely, a rifle range, while an extensive watersports facility meets most demands. A gym offers modern equipment, and there's a sauna, whirlpool spa, beauty salon and massage service, plus a kids' club. Two meeting rooms with audio-visuals can accommodate 405 people. |

* Rooms come furnished with twin, double or king beds (mattresses were too soft for our tastes), with separate, oversize mahogany-colored headboards that float upon the wall and double as art pieces.
* Contemporary style furniture comprises two upholstered upright chairs and a table and a small make-up desk that supports the TV. The presence of a free-standing refrigerator detracts from the harmony that these rooms otherwise achieve, and closet space is minimal. Air-conditioning, telephones, radios, safes and coffee-makers are standard, while five lamps provide ample lighting. Sliding glass doors open to spacious balconies with twin seats and small coffee tables. |
